Highlights of this edition include:

  • Review of Bob Dylan’s new album, Nashville Skyline. Among the songs on the album are “I Threw it All Away,” “Lay Lady Lay,” and “Girl from the North Country” with Johnny Cash. Answering his own question from an earlier column, Jack Trapp concludes: “Yes, Dylan is back. He’s got a new sound and a new technical polish to his music. He’s also got a power to him that seems to say that no matter how many times he’s put down, he’ll be back again and again saying what he thinks, feels and wants.”
  • A report on the previous day’s debate between the candidates for Student Association president, John Fennell and Kevin McGrath. Issues discussed included getting student representation on the Board of Trustees as well as better communication between students and the Student Association.
  • President Allyn Robinson’s response to the previous issue’s editorial questions.
