Dr. Kurt Fisher began teaching at Dowling in the fall of 1968 just as the College assumed its new identity. Drawn from an oral history interview, these segments recount how Dr. Fisher found his way from the Bronx to the south shore of Long Island. He also relates some of the challenges of teaching physics and how he met his future wife, fine arts instructor Sarah Chin.
